Bee Movie

It’s no wonder that standup comedians make great vocal talents for animated movies. All alone on that bare stage, a comic’s voice is one of the few weapons he or she has. This proves true once again with Jerry Seinfeld and Bee Movie. The mock outrage and dry sarcasm of Seinfeld’s comic persona defines the movie’s hero, Barry B. Benson, a worker bee with a high-pitched, often cracking whine. When Barry discovers that humans are using bees to harvest honey and not sharing in the profits, he sues us.
