Accepted

Accepted restores your faith in low budgets and dumb ideas. It reminds you both can be fun. The idea here is that a Ferris Bueller-type teenager named Bartleby (Justin Long) decides to invent a college to fool his parents after he has been rejected by every institution to which he’s applied. It works – too well, especially when hundreds of other rejects show up at the abandoned psychiatric hospital Bartleby has leased expecting a higher education. Featuring the always entertaining wisdom of Daily Show contributor Lewis Black, spewing his usual nihilistic bile as a disgraced academic convinced to pose as the imaginary school’s dean.
