Into the Blue

Paul Walker auditions for the part of Aquaman as Jared, a beach bum in the Bahamas with dreams of finding sunken treasure. In the course of the overly plotted story that
ensues – involving drug dealers, corrupt cops and Jessica Alba as his bikini-baring girlfriend – Jared finds himself forced to cling from the side of a speeding boat, walk along the bottom of the ocean and repeatedly swim underwater holding his breath for minutes on end. Kevin
Costner must have lent him his Waterworld gills. Into the Blue, meanwhile, flirts here and
there with attaining an entertaining level of badness, but in the end it remains frustratingly mediocre.
