Premonition

Located somewhere between a metaphysical thriller and an episode of Oxygen’s deranged-housewife series “Snapped,” Sandra Bullock’s Premonition feels like it was concocted in some sort of hormonal haze, say maybe in the seventh month of a pregnancy. And I mean that as a compliment. Bullock plays a housewife with two young girls and a possibly straying husband (Julian McMahon). When he is killed in a car accident, she’s flooded with conflicting emotions and, perhaps, hallucinations (including his return from the dead). All in all, this is a loopy exercise in Freudian femininity.
