Mirrors

Murderous mirrors rank pretty high in terms of silly horror conceits, and so Mirrors doesn’t disappoint in the bad-movie department. At one point, a pane of glass actually bites Kiefer Sutherland, who plays a night watchman patrolling a derelict department store. Sutherland yells at it – he does a lot of barking at his own reflection in Mirrors – but the mirror doesn’t listen. From French director Alexandre Aja, who piles on his signature sadistic cruelty in the climax when the mirrors come after the watchman’s young family.
