Babylon A.D.

Vin Diesel has always had a gravelly vocal style, yet when he speaks in this movie it sounds like someone flipped on the garbage disposal. Diesel plays Toorop, a mercenary in some sort of parallel futuristic universe. Some strange twist of fate saved Babylon A.D. from the direct-to-DVD bin, considering the plot is unintelligible and the action, poorly staged by French director Mathieu Kassovitz, is incomprehensible.
