The Bounty Hunter is an odd, timid movie, unsure of its actors and how to use them. Jennifer Aniston stars as Nicole Hurley, an investigative newspaper reporter who ends up skipping bail via plot machinations that are too painful to recount. This is good news for Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), Nicole’s angry ex-husband and the bounty hunter who is given the assignment to bring her in. And so ensues a cat-and-mouse romantic comedy that relies less on witty repartee than bickering and bitterness. Directed by Andy Tennant.
