Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

A martial arts epic that plays like a Gone With the Wind or Doctor Zhivago from the Far East, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon follows two thoughtful warriors (Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun Fat) as they pursue a prominent politician’s daughter (the dazzling Zhang Ziyi) who moonlights as a deadly thief during the night. Beneath the stunning fight scenes – in which warriors leap through air and scale towering walls – you’ll find a lyrical poem about adolescence, friendship and unrequited love.
