Curious George

As long as you like primary colors, you should be satisfied with Curious George. Less a movie than an exercise in bright reds, blues, yellows and greens, this traditionally animated adaptation of the children’s books by Margret and H.A. Rey has the production design of a preschool classroom – which is appropriate, for that is the place where this benign, pleasant film would be best received. Will Ferrell provides the voice of the man with the yellow hat, while Jack Johnson provides the finest pop songs to accompany a kids’ flick since Paul Simon graced The Wild Thornberrys Movie.
