Death Sentence

Kevin Bacon stars as a generically loving husband and father of two who goes on a mission of vengeance when a gang of thugs irrevocably harms his family. Bacon does his best to deepen the material and director James Wan (Saw) pulls some slick camera tricks in a few of the chase scenes, but overall this is too thin – reductive, driven by cartoon villains and ultimately undone by a ridiculous final half hour in which Bacon turns into the Terminator.
