Dirty Love

Jenny McCarthy is far more desperate than she needs to be in Dirty Love, her self-penned paean to the dating travails of young Los Angeles babes. She’s so busy trying to prove she doesn’t take herself seriously that she undersells what is actually some serious comedic talent. Pushing her snorting, belching Cameron Diaz-type guys’ gal image, McCarthy mixes her nude scenes with gross-out humor, and what’s lost amid the raunch is the fact that
she can be a crack physical comedienne and a fair-enough wit. So far, few others have figured out how to use her; Dirty Love suggests she doesn’t quite know how to use herself.
