Writer-director Oliver Parker continues the charming, witty conversation he began with 1999’s An Ideal Husband by tackling Oscar Wilde’s better-known play. layabout whose only true pursuit is the creation of a well-turned phrase. His co-stars are Colin Firth, Reese Witherspoon, Frances O’Conner, Tom Wilkinson and the invaluable Judi Dench.
