Incredible Hulk, The

Star Edward Norton and director Louis Leterrier make the second attempt to breathe life into what is an uninspired comic-book creation (sorry Hulk fans). The doomed romanticism of the story feels crudely lifted, as it has been, from the King Kong myth and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, while the special effects still aren’t capable of convincing us that the Hulk holds any real physical weight on the screen. When it comes to giant green humanoids who occasionally roar, I’ll stick with Shrek.

“If Toy Story 5 doesn’t quite rise to the challenge of its conceit, it still offers plenty of familiar fun.”

Rose of Nevada (2026)

Horror Rated NR

“…a work of oblique horror, a ghost story that’s something of an apparition itself.”
