Tim Robbins, Rachel McAdams and Michael Pena star as Iraq war veterans on leave who wind up on a cross-country road trip when their connecting flights out of New York City get cancelled. They have a nice camaraderie, but The Lucky Ones jerks them in all sorts of directions. Moments of real trauma are interrupted with sitcom wackiness, all of it connected by a terribly hokey musical score.
