Michael Jordan to the Max

There’s mostly hot air in this sanitized tribute to Jordan’s last playoff run. The basketball scenes actually suffer from the IMAX format (the camera is shoved in so close that you’re suffocating in Jordan’s jersey) and the interview segments seem to have come out of a focus group made up of Jordan and his agent. There’s some nostalgia here, but aside from a brief Matrix-like special effect, nothing that fans haven’t already seen.
