Road House

Not controlled or competent enough to work as a spoof, a serious action flick, or anything in between. Nor, for me, a convincing demonstration of the phenomenon that was Patrick Swayze. Perhaps Road House could be enjoyed as a nostalgic guilty pleasure, though I watched it for the first time in 2024 on the occasion of the remake from that year, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
