Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

With this musical biopic spoof character actor John C. Reilly takes center stage – and he deserves the spotlight. As a Johnny Cash-Ray Charles-Brian Wilson hybrid, Reilly has an absolute sincerity – especially in the many musical numbers – that’s essential for something this goofy. And goofiness reigns. There’s an uproarious version of the standard hotel orgy scene – there is nudity, but not in the way you think – as well as a host of star cameos throughout. You’ll have to see who plays the Beatles for yourself – figuring it out is half the fun.
